The Sudanese Minister of Trade announces an agreement with the Egyptian side regarding the export of livestock



The Sudanese Minister of Trade and Supply, Ali Gedo, announced the conclusion of an agreement with the Egyptian side to open the export of livestock to Sudanese companies without a monopoly on any party, provided that the exporting companies transfer the export proceeds to the Bank of Sudan, pointing to the suspension of companies that do not commit to transferring the proceeds of exports.


The Sudanese Minister of Trade and Supply said, in a statement to the Sudan News Agency "SUNA", that it was agreed with the Egyptian side to transfer free currencies through Egyptian banks to Sudan, provided that the Egyptian Central Bank directs all commercial banks to conduct free currency transfers for exporters and others, in a way that allows no The link between the proceeds of exports and the payment of import bills from them, indicating that the Sudanese embassy in Cairo will follow up the implementation of the procedures for bank transfers to free currencies.


Gedo, who accompanied the Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, on his visit to Cairo, added that it was agreed during his meeting with the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Jameh to train cadres and Sudanese trade and supply investigations in Egypt, through continuous batches in coordination with the Egyptian embassy in Khartoum.
