Tunisian journalist: The Zamalek and Tarji match without an audience

Hatem Kozbar, the Tunisian sports critic, revealed that the upcoming match between Zamalek and Tarji in the third round of the African Champions League groups tournament will be held without an audience due to the medical procedures followed in Tunisia to eliminate the emerging Corona virus.

Qazbar said, in statements to the Zamalek TV program on Zamalek TV, that Al-Tarji has introduced several new deals this season that will make the difference with the Tunisian champion, on top of which is the contract with a Ghanaian striker besides the return of Anis Al-Badri, adding that Zamalek is known besides that he depends on some players such as Ben Sharqi and Ferjani Sassi Expressing his astonishment at the absence of Hamza Mathlouthi in the Al-Abyad starting lineup.

On a different level, the medical swab performed by the players of the first football team at Wadi Degla Club was negative before the match against Zamalek, scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, at Al-Salam Stadium in the fourteenth round of the Egyptian League competition.

The medical swab comes within the framework of the instructions of the Egyptian Football Association in order to limit the spread of the Corona virus, and clubs conduct regular swabs before playing any match in the Premier League or the Egypt Cup.

The Wadi Degla team, under the leadership of its Chilean coach Mario Salas, is going through a series of negative results, the last of which was the loss to Al Ittihad of Alexandria in the last round, where the Deglaoui team is bottom of the Egyptian league table with 7 points.

Al-Ittihad of Alexandria snatched a fatal victory from the canines of its rival Wadi Degla, with two goals to one, in the match that brought the two teams together Thursday night at Alexandria Stadium, in the 13th round of the Premier League.

Mohamed Hilal opened the scoring for Wadi Degla in the 22nd minute from a penalty kick, before Fawzi El-Hanawy equalized for Ittihad in the 54th minute, and then Emmanuel Ikoy finished in front of El-Ghazlan by scoring the winning goal for Al-Thaghr leader in the 90th minute.
