Jeddah Federation requests the return of Ahmed Hegazy after the team's match with Kenya



The past hours witnessed some developments in the position of Ahmed Hegazy, the player of the Saudi Jeddah Federation, and the chances of him being present in the Kenya and Comoros matches in the African Nations qualifiers, in light of the quarantine procedures followed in Saudi Arabia to limit the emerging Corona virus.

 

The Saudi Jeddah Federation asked the Football Association and the national team management to participate in the Kenya match only on March 25, so that he can return to Saudi Arabia and be subject to a 14-day quarantine, according to travel procedures for arrivals from Egypt to Saudi Arabia to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

 

The Football Association is currently trying to reach an agreement that the player will participate in the two matches before returning to Saudi Arabia, which has not been decided.

 

The technical staff of the first national football team, led by Hossam El-Badry, included 28 players for the closed camp, in preparation for the Kenya and Comoros matches, on March 25 and 29, at the conclusion of the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup in Cameroon 2022.

The national team begins its closed camp, on Sunday March 21st, and performs its training in Cairo until the date of its departure on a private plane on the 23rd of this month.
